Welcome to Framework First! We’re a family-owned and operated construction company that specializes in modular homes, more specifically, prefabricated ADUs.

After picking up hammers and putting down drills for a few decades, we’ve focused on what we believe is the future of housing: accessory dwelling units (ADUs.)

We’ve created conveyor-belt like construction in our ADU factory, with each step procedure occurring immediately after the other. Resulting in more affordable and quicker construction than ever before – no noise, delay or management!

Hands down, our work is the quietest construction your neighbors never heard.

Cathy Canales

Chief Executive Officer

Cathy is the heart of Framework First. With past experience in property management, real estate and construction, accessory dwelling units (ADUs) quickly became her best friend. Cathy is an ADU specialist as well as a licensed realtor and contractor; she also is the host of the Framework First Podcast and author of the Framework First books/workbooks.

Austin Canales

Chief Operating Officer

Austin leads Framework First with his extensive construction experience and leadership. Austin overlooks and refines the construction of the ADU process, as well as the company performance. Always looking for new ways to better serve our clients.

Joshua Canales

Director of Marketing

Overseeing online operating systems (IT), advertising, branding and data. Joshua seeks to make the online ADU process easy and effortless. Providing you with everything you need to know before purchasing or building your modular home.
