FRAMEWORK FIRST is a fast-growing Modular Home Builder looking for driven and goal-focused individuals to join our team, and this time we are seeking experienced Craftsmen!

This position is for experienced Craftsman/Carpenters/Framers who are confident & efficient in building. Must have prior experience with using framing tools and have general construction knowledge.

 

As a Craftsman, you can be expected to do various types of work in the field that span across multiple trades. FRAMEWORK FIRST is looking for individuals who are proficient in over 50% of the following trades listed below.

The Craftsmen must be efficient in performing tasks that they are knowledgeable in and quick to learn the new skills & trades that will be taught. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment that operates mostly indoors.

FRAMEWORK FIRST is searching for exceptional talent that want to join our team and grow in a long-lasting relationship as we expand.

Must be proficient in the following types of work:

Exterior:

  • Rough framing of any of our ADU models with guidance from a Lead Craftsman & Trainer.
  • Installing house wrap, weatherproofing, doors and windows.
  • Exterior siding installation, trim, flashing.
  • Roofing (asphalt shingles).

Interior:

  • Hardwood flooring.
  • Cabinet installation.
  • Baseboard and casing around doors & windows.
  • Shelving, closet poll, etc.
  • Tile work (waterproofing, setting tile, grouting).
  • Interior door installation.
  • Vanity installation.

Finish work:

  • Door and cabinet hardware.
  • Appliances and installation.
  • Hooks, hangers, towel, bars, mirrors, etc.
 

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Memorize Framework First Core Values.
  • Show up ready and focused to complete any of the tasks as described above.
  • Shows up in clean Framework First attire.
  • Able to think through obstacles and stay focused on the task at hand.
  • Coachable and aware of when to ask for help from a Lead Craftsman & Trainer when confused.
  • Team player who enjoys working with others.
  • Shows the drive to want to do better for themselves, the team & the company.
  • Respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must follow all of FRAMEWORK FIRST’s core values.
  • Must consistently show up to work on time (or early).
  • Practices safety procedures consistently.
  • Must enjoy a busy, high-energy, and positive atmosphere.
 

Job Specifics:

  • Location: 1610 Moffett Street, Salinas, CA
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM
  • Pay Range: Starting at $25 per hour
  • In-Person: At the Framework First factory
  • Status: Looking for someone to start immediately.
